we share the same skies
It seems like my life is so uninteresting at the minute. I've been off school ill for the past week, which sucks! I strangely missed school, which is slightly concerning. Anyway, I spent my time watching gossip girl (season 1 in four days) and alias which is possibly one of the best tv shows ever created.
Last night I went out with my friends for a meal as it is one of my friends birthdays tomorrow. It was so funny- one of my friends knocked over a whole glass of coke and the glass smashed and coke went everywhere. We found it funny- I'm not sure the waitress did though!
Still- only one more week of school and then two weeks off! Hallelujah! I'm going on holiday to my favourite place ever- St. Ives in Cornwall, however the weather isn't looking to promising! It's fab even when it does rain though!
Anyway I'm gonna go off and put on my onesie and watch some harry potter- I'm in that kind of mood.
Bye!

A falling star, fell from your heart

A falling star, fell from your heart
Feel like I should mention the fact that it was Valentine's day on Thursday. Meh. Valentine's Day. I'm sure whoever invented it had good intentions, but when you're single it really does suck. Being bombarded by cute couples, heart shaped balloons and teddy bears with 'I heart you' on them is not fun when you're bitter and single like me! Anyway, valentine's day rant over, I hope that those of you actually in a relationship had a fab fab fab day with your loved one. Not jealous or anything.
Today, I finished reading The Fault in Our Stars as everyone seems to be raving about it and it just seemed like my kind of read really. It is such a good book, it's so funny at the start, but then really really sad. I sobbed for about the last ten chapters. And it takes a lot to make me cry at books! I fell in love with the characters, Gus and Hazel's relationship is so amazing, it really inspired me how strong Hazel is. Also how John Green portrayed the book, yes it was sad but also really enlightening and funny. I read it in a night and a day, literally couldn't put it down. I so recommend it.
Excited for tomorrow, going to my friends house for a girlie catch up and films, I feel like we've been drifting a bit lately so it'll be great to have a catch up. Also can't believe how fast the holidays have gone; time flies when you do nothing at all! Literally have done nothing this half term, mainly due to the fact I've been ill for most of it, but hey.

I can't believe that Monday is the last episode of My Mad Fat Diary too! Don't know if they've been showing it in the US, but I absolutely love it. Finn is gorrrrgeous. To be honest I'll miss seeing his face every week. It's also really funny, and based on Rae Earl's real diaries! I don't think I could ever publish my diary. Not that it's actually that interesting but still.
Gonna trot off now, bye!!

Hold on, to where you're from

Hold on, to where you're from
I was just thinking how appropriate the quote in the set is to my life at the minute. It just feels like everything is changing, and I wish I could just go back and hold onto time so that nothing has to change. It's so wierd how time just moves on and things change without you realising.
Anyway, I haven't been up to much lately. I've been trying out some new products and have completely fallen in love with the Soap & Glory sugar crush range. It smells sooooooo so so so unbelievably nice. I could just eat it (not that i would... but y'know)! Also I've discovered some new bands that are fab. Slow Club are great (I put one of thier songs in the set), Peanut Butter Lovesicle and a band that I have loved for ages now is Foals. I listened to thier new album and oh my god it's amazing. Literally haven't stopped listening to it! They are playing near me next month, I think I'm gonna have to get tickets really!
Also watched Little Miss Sunshine the other day for the first time, if you haven't watched it- watch it! I was paralysed with laughter, don't think I stopped laughing the whole way through! It's one of the funniest films I have ever watched. So go watch it!
Enough from me, hope you're all ok, byyyyyyye!

Jump into the fog with me

Jump into the fog with me
So I've been absent from polyvore for practically the last 2 months. I know it's really really super late to say this now, but I hope you all had a fab christmas and got everything you wanted! Also hoping that you've had a great start to 2013!!!
My life has been really busy lately, with exams and heaps of homework, hence the fact I haven't been on polyvore lately. But I've been off school ill for the past week, bored out of my mind so I thought I'd try get back into the habit of making sets!
It's been snowing here in England too. Most of it has melted now, but it was really thick last weekend. I'm still undecided as to whether I actually like snow, it looks so pretty and you usually get a day off school, but it's SO COLD. I just like sitting inside and looking at it curled up with a mug of tea.
In other news, I'VE GOT MY BRACES OFF. It feels so nice! And, I now have normal looking teeth!
A dilemma I've been having lately, is the january sales. To spend or to save? I'm really bad with money and feel like I should save it to buy something worthwhile instead of splashing out on bargains. And the shops just seem to tease me with all the new pretty spring/summer stuff coming out. But I know that it will be at least another 4 months before I actually get to wear it due to the coldness of England.
Anyway enough of me blabbing on, I'm off to watch Gossip Girl and mope about feeling ill.
I'm not the kind of fool who's gonna sit and sing to you
Wow! It feels like I haven't made a set in ages!
So I thought I should update you on what's been going on lately in my life.
Well to start it was my birthday on the 28th (of november) which feels like so long ago now. Anyway I had a great day and got some great presents. I got gossip girl seasons 1-5 on boxset, and the Harry Potter complete dvd box set too. I also got Mumford & Son's new CD, The Vaccines' new CD and lots of money! I also got The Perks Of Being A Wallflower, I read it in about 2 days and really really loved it. I just loved how personal the author made it feel. I have asked for the film for Christmas and I want to see it so badly!
The other day I started to read Divergent by Veronica Roth and I would so reccomend it. The storyline is really great, and there is the cutest love story woven into it. It kind of reminds me a bit of The Hunger Games and I'm not sure whether that's a good thing or bad. I can't wait to see who will star in the film version of Divergent, I just wish the release date would come quicker!
I have been overridden with homework and exams lately, so haven't really had much of a social life. I have been meaning to go see Breaking Dawn with some friends but just haven't got round to it yet which is so annoying as I really want to see it!
Today I started my Christmas shopping. I always hate buying presents for people, it stresses me out because I never know what to get people and I always want to get it right (I'm a bit of a perfectionist)! But I love seeing people's reactions when they open thier presents.
Anyway, that's all from me, hope you like the set and enjoy the countdown to Christmas!
